The Wall Experiment

In life, faith, and writing, it takes a lot of experimentation to get anything right. Better get started.

Art

“You can draw?”

“You don’t really strike me as the artistic type.”

“Did you do that?”

Those are just a handful of the comments I’ve received over the last couple months as I’ve begun to return to a pastime I haven’t really touched since arriving in Seattle. It’s funny how shocked friends can be when they discover something new about you. But then, their unawareness of my talent wasn’t their fault; it was mine. I almost let a gift go to waste, but by the grace of God, my eyes have been opened to what a gift artistic ability is both to me and to the ones I love.

As I draw more, and as more of my older work makes it into digital format, this is where it will be available.

I couldn’t be happier that you’re drawing again, my Joshua. Thank you for sharing your gift with the rest of us slackers.

Don’t beat yourself up with the term “slacker,” AD. (And don’t beat yourself up with the fact that I’m correcting you, either.)
