The Wall Experiment

In life, faith, and writing, it takes a lot of experimentation to get anything right. Better get started.

Writing

I started writing of my own free will when I was about six, and the proof of this was a yellowed, crusty piece of paper covered in a mix of poorly spelled words and various hieroglyphics that hung from my parents’ refrigerator for the next decade.

I don’t remember doing much of it through high school. In fact, I generally felt rather inadequate as a writer during those years, mostly because I found myself in accelerated English classes packed full of students who scored better than I did on everything—of course that may have had something to do with the fact that I read maybe half of the assigned books. Regardless, it wasn’t until college that I really took to the art of writing again, choosing to pursue a major in English, concentrating in Creative Writing.

Today, my writing ebbs and flows, but for those who are interested in seeing what I’ve done and what I can do, visit the links below. I hope you find something you can enjoy.

Professional Work: i.e. things I’ve been paid for

Journalism: work that made it into a printed and publicly distributed magazine

Creative Work: written for artistic value—or just for fun
